The Orthopaedic Memory Pocket 2000 90cm x 200cm European continental single mattress; is designed to accompany Ikea and continental bed frames. The continental single mattress has a combination of firm pocket springs with a 25mm layer of memory foam and offers a traditional orthopaedic support. It is skilfully tailored in a soft touch cover and features a hand tufted finish for additional strength and durability. The advantage of hand tufting is it pre tensions the continental single mattress by passing tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them with a 'cotton tuft' on each side. This process ensures the layers of fillings are held in place and considerably reduces the possibility of upholstery movement that can cause continental single mattress to go lumpy. The 25mm memory foam layer is temperature sensitive and designed to soften when it comes into contact with warm surfaces, thus moulding itself to your unique body shape. This reduces the pressure points on your body, creating better blood circulation. It evenly distributes your body weight and results in less tossing and turning.
