The Nimbus Ortho extra long continental single mattress is 26cm in depth and features a micro quilted damask cover, Hypoallergenic Mattress fillings and a robust open coil spring system. Its micro quilted finish attaches the outer damask cover to the top layers of fillings and ensures they are held securely in place. This reduces any chance of upholstery movement. At the core of the continental single mattress is a robust open coil spring unit, also known as a Bonnell spring system. Its made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs connected at the top and bottom by a spiral helical wire. The edge of the spring interior is further strengthened by a thick rod edge wire that supports the perimeter of the spring unit and helps prevent border breakdown.
