Skilfully manufactured in the UK by Dura Beds, the Thermacool double mattress combines extra firm pocket springs, Hypoallergenic Mattress fillings, gel infused Latex and a Tencel incorporated cover. Tencel is woven into the soft to touch knitted stretch fabric cover, improving heat flow and moisture dissipation. It helps create the perfect sleeping microclimate and also inhibits bacterial growth. An additional feature is its Gel Infused Latex; an innovative layer developed to provide the same pressure relieving properties as memory foam, whilst dissipating heat away from the sleepers body. At 31cm deep, the Thermacool is generously filled and includes several layers of Hypoallergenic Mattress white fibre fillings, creating an ideal sleeping environment for allergy sufferers and asthmatics. The foundation of the double mattress is its pocket spring interior; a system made up of totally independent springs that are smaller in diameter, compared to a standard 3 open coil spring. Each pocket spring is encased within a separate flexible cloth sleeve that allows it to move independently to the ones around it and provide fantastic lumber support. The result is, the springs only compress where pressure is exerted, creating a more responsive feel and allowing for motion separation between both sides of the bed. A high density foam encapsulated border surrounds the spring interior to add extra support and allow you to sleep right up to the edge of the double mattress, without the sensation of rolling off. To enhance its lifespan, we recommend that you rotate the double mattress from head to toe regularly. The double mattress is one sided and does not need to be flipped over.
