The hand tufted finish pre tensions the king mattress by passing tapes through it at regular intervals and securing them on each side with a cotton tuft. As well as ensuring the generous layers of upholstery remain firmly in place, the hand tufting process also results in a firmer sleeping surface. The king mattress boasts a pocket sprung interior, a system where springs are housed within their own cloth sleeve; allowing them to move independently from one another. The pocket springs provide piston like support to each part of the sleeper's body, resulting in a spring system that directly supports at the point of contact.
