The Cotton Pocket 3000 is a high spec 4ft small double mattress from Deluxe Beds and features a two tier pocket spring system, Hypoallergenic Mattress fillings and a luxury cotton cover. It's well filled at 29cm deep and boasts several layers of white fibre fillings and for additional durability; it has a hand tufted finish. Hand tufting is a series of tapes inserted through the small double mattress panels at regular intervals and secured on each side with a 'cotton tuft'. The result is, it pre tensions the small double mattress and secures the layers of fillings stay in place, reducing the chance of upholstery movement that can cause a small double mattress to go lumpy. The foundation of the small double mattress is made up of a two tier pocket spring system where a layer of mini pocket springs are supported by a standard layer of pocket springs. The springs are totally independent with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve, ensuring the load on one spring isn't affected by the one next to it.
