Manufactured in the UK by Sweet Dreams and exclusive to us at Archers, the Percussion is a firm and supportive king mattress that is upholstered in a quality damask cover with a hand tufted finish. Hand tufting is achieved by passing a series of tapes through the king mattress at regular intervals and securing them on both sides with a cotton tuft to ensure the fillings are held firmly in place. Its interior consists of a 12.5 gauge open coil spring system, also known as a Bonnell unit and one of the firmest wires used in king mattress manufacturing in the UK today. The open coil spring system is made up of rows of hourglass shaped springs that run from head to toe and are connected at the top and bottom by a spiral wire, known as a helical wire. The king mattress perimeter is strengthened by a thick, rod edge wire that helps to avoid border breakdown and allows you the full width of the sleeping surface. It is a dual sided king mattress and requires to be rotated from head to toe and flipped over on a regular basis. This will take care of and extend the life of the king mattress. Flag stitched handles are fitted to assist you when turning the king mattress.
